I had the experience of working in a bakery and I wanted to visualize that different substances and materials are mixed and circulated in our daily lives as we eat and consume them as energy. I called the work 'The Living Factory' because everyday life in a bakery feels like a factory, but a bakery is a place where people make things by hand, so I thought it was a factory with a human touch, not a machine. The picture book is divided into three chapters called “Run”, “Jump” and “Chase”. Each chapter consisted of a word related to movement, and I photographed and included images that captured the feeling of movement similar to the word. The idea was to convey the message that there is a lot of movement and energy in even the most mundane tasks.
